Horizontal Geothermal Installation

Want more information?

A horizontal geothermal system is the most common closed loop option used today.  After digging a series of trenches in an open area of your yard, the installer will lay the appropriate length of tubing required for the size of your furnace.  A horizontal geothermal system will have nearly double the amount of pipe used in vertical applications to allow for a more variable ground temperature.

Horizontal geothermal systems are usually one of the least expensive installation options because of the prevalence of excavating equipment.  However, few operators are qualified in horizontal geothermal installation and drilling.  Leave it to the professionals at Yoder Drilling & Geothermal, Inc.
